On the occasion of 'King' audio release and Nag Chaithanya's introduction to the media on his birthday, Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao shared some of his experiences with the audiences.

On expressing his gratitude to the fans he said, "To all those innumerable fans who have come from far and wide places to attend this function, to all the fans of my family and to all my admirable fans; I thank you all from the bottom of my heart."

Sivaprasad Reddy the head of Kamakshi, who has arranged this function in such a galore, is a close companion of our family. I appreciate his efforts for organizing this function in grandeur. I need mention anything special about my son Nagarjuna which goes the same for the popular artists Srihari, Brahmanandam, Suneel and Venu Madhav. The only people who are not familiar to me are Trisha and Mamtha Mohandas.

I have watched many movies of Trisha. Her performance in 'Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana' is good. I don't know, how you feel when you see Trisha, but I feel very good. A lot of people might not be aware that it was me who introduced the concept of dance for English, Hindi and Telugu movies. If my grand daughter (Trisha) gives her consent to work with me, this grand father (Nageswara Rao) is high on his heels to act with the heroine.

In our family, we had a lack for educated people. Even Nagarjuna wanted to act when he was 10 years old. Now, including me there are five heroes from our family. Today, with NagChainthanya one more member from our family is going to be a star. When I started out my career as an actor there was no one to support my efforts. When Nagarjuna started his career in acting, I was there behind him. Now for NagChaithanya, it is even stronger as there are two families in the industry, the Akkinenis and Daggubati families who will pillar his dreams.

After completing his studies in America, Nagarjuna, along with his brother came to me and requested my permission to take up acting as a career. I didn't object to it. Then he got your admiration and made it big for which I am feeling proud of him.

One day NagChaithanya declared his aspiration to work in Cinema. It came as a surprise to us as never expected such a request from him. Being from a family of cine background with us Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, Sumanth, Sushanth, Ramanaidu, Sureshbabu, Venkatesh already in the field, his allegiance is high to keep up the family tradition. Keeping these factors in mind, we have arranged a crash course in acting, stunt training in Hollywood, also for dance. We are introducing him to Cinema with complete skills. We all believe firmly that he will be successful, based on sentimental reason that is I have 'Nag' in my name, Nagarjuna also has it, and Nag Chaithanya also retains it.

Initially, we wanted to launch Nagchaithanya on our Annapurna banner. But, 'Dil'Raju came forward to do it. Currently, known as the man of Midas touch, he is making gold out of what ever project he is laying his hands on, so we handed this responsibility to him. Today, it also happens to be Nagchaithanya's birthday, and is also a birthday of many famous personalities. I wish my grandson all the best.
